The MIC5209-3.3YS-TR is an ultra low-dropout, CMOS voltage regulator designed to provide 450mA of output current with a 0.5V dropout voltage. The MIC5209-3.3YS-TR is uniquely designed to offer an extremely low quiescent current. The device is optimized for battery-powered applications and provides excellent regulation over temperature and line variations. The device includes short-circuit current limiting and thermal shutdown protection. The MIC5209-3.3YS-TR is available in the space-saving SOT-23-5 package.
